It started the way most good things start: a few friends, a table, and a bottle of wine.
We are a group of people from different countries who ended up in Rome. Some of us moved here for work. Some followed a partner. Some just wanted to try living somewhere where the coffee is better and the pace is slower. What we all had in common was the same feeling: making friends as an adult, in a new country, is hard.
What We Actually Do
We organize free social events around Rome. Expat meetups at bars, language exchanges with board games, co-working afternoons where you can work alongside other remote workers and stay for aperitivo. No membership fees, no sign-up costs. You just show up and pay for what you eat and drink.
We focus on ages 25 to 39. We speak English. English-speaking Italians are welcome too. The vibe matters more than the number.
Why We Built This Site
Our community grew from word of mouth and Instagram. But we wanted a home base, somewhere people could find us, see what we are about, and know when the next event is happening. This site is that home base.
We will be posting stories, recommendations, and guides about living in Rome as a foreigner. The kind of stuff we wish someone had told us when we first arrived.
